METHODOLOGY
Since the methodology and approach of the design of a project, such as this, is somewhat dependent on the philosophy of the firm and its technical and managerial staff
ARKITECTONICA primary goal in the design & Supervisor of its related services, answers modern technological trends, conforms to the Client’s functional needs, and keeps operating costs at a reasonable level, but most important, deliverables will meet the Client’s requirements.
Value engineering is the process of providing the same quality building and features at less expense.
It is a creative, organized effort, which analyzes the requirements of a project for the purpose of achieving the essential functions at the lowest total costs (capital, staffing, energy, maintenance) over the life of the project
The philosophy of time/cost control, which is employed by the Consultant, will be entrusted through the direct management of a single person.
Our Design & Supervision Team comprehends this philosophy and has the attitude that the Client’s schedule and cost should be controlled within the established quality level while taking into consideration the Project’s functional design requirements
ARKITECTONICA adopts a Comprehensive Quality Management System [QMS] that is comprised of planned and systematic actions and standard office procedures necessary to provide adequate confidence that all professional activities are being carried out according to the specified project requirements and in strict compliance with the applicable laws, regulations, codes, standards, and policies.
During the first stage of the Project, the Consultant will develop the Project Management Plan setting forth the operational procedures to be followed during the Project. It will identify specific lines of authority and responsibility and establish minimum reporting requirements and required documents distribution.
The Project Management Plan will contain systems for control of progress and costs, quality assurance and document processing. As well as ensuring the full coordination between the different disciplines as represented in the figure hereunder.
ARKITECTONICA has long recognized the increasing importance of sustainable design and has taken the attitude that such design should be treated as core activity rather than a specialized service.
It is a natural extension of the energy conservation approach that has always been a key consideration and a feature of ARKITECTONICA Designs.
In that regard it is commonplace now to choose low energy applications for Mechanical and Electrical systems, and technologies such as variable speed drives, low energy lighting BMS controls etc. are standard design solutions.
